dhtml effects vs. page transitions again

hi, i posted a question about this subject once before
without getting a conclusive answer, so i am asking again,
because i do not know what else to do. i want to use dhtml
effects (button changing on mouse over) as well as page
transition effects, but only one works at a time. the
effect that i apply first to the page is the one that
shows, the other one is ignored. can i have only one of
these effects per page ? or is there another way ? any
advise would be greatly appreciated, thanx, Kleo

I don't think I've ever tried both of these in FrontPage
at the same time before...so using FrontPage 2003 I did a
quick test and it works just fine.

page transitions are also DHTML - for your info.

from what I can gather your want rollover button DHTML effect linked to a page
for which you have a transition in place -

It might be there are conflicting variable names in the two different scripts
(the mouseover and the page transition). they might use variables, counters or
whatever like "x", "y" "z" which are common to both scripts and therefore the
conflict.

This is only a "it might" happen this way - my idea only - and may not be
correct - but this is a common problem where two scripts (unrelated) may have a
common variable name that causes problems.

Could you post the url to the problem page so we can view the source etc to help
you out further.

Thanks.
