Hi,
All my clients are using DHCP server on my 2000 DC for IP
configuration, The lease duration is Unlimited.
Now I need to change the Default Gateway and I want to
force this change right away or at least whenever they re-
logon. So if I just change the DG on DHCP server and ask
people to logoff and logon again whould take care of that
or should I do something else.
Thanks in advance-Rob

Have them shutdown and restart. Set the lease period to one day.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for your posting here.

You can also let people to run the following commands on the clients.

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

Have a nice day!
