DFS Mapped Drive issue.

Vista will not run our login script but not map the drives. On our two vista
machines we are receiving The Network name cannot be found.

We recently turned off WINS but I would assume 2000/XP/Vista are all just as
happy without WINS.

I've seen one other post about this but the fixes supplied there didn't
work. any suggestions? Oh, our XP pro machines map these drives using the
same scripts just fine.

I would check the DNS settings first. Any errors if using nslookup command in Vitas? Or this post may help,

Vista: The Network Path was not foundsays "The Network Path was not found". > > 14. When I try to view the network on the VISTA machine, ONLY the > network hub/router and the vista machine ...

Hopefully smoeone can provide a solution for this, as I am experiencing the
same problem as mentioned above. Corporate domain and I constantly have to
reboot to run the logonbat which maps the drive. I did realize it only ever
seems to lose the connection to the DFS shares.

I am still searching for a solution / fix without any luck I might add...
