DFS: Cannot find the file or item \\domain.com\dfs_root

Hi!

I have problem accessing dfs root from some of the workstations. Workstations and dfs servers are on the same subnet, and I do not have problem reaching dfs root from any workstation except five of them. I can browse network shares \\server\share without problem but when it comes to browsing over dfs it failes with next error message.

"Cannot find the file or item \\domain.com\dfs_root .
Make sure the path and file name are correct."

Any idea?

1. What is the DFS link name that you are trying to access?
2. Can you access the target share (that is pointed by DFS link you are
trying to access) directly? If no, then fix this issue. After that you
should be able to access across DFS link.
3. If yes, then can you please send the output of 'dfsutil.exe /pktinfo' and
'dfsutil.exe /spcinfo' on the client machine after your access fails? Please
also send the path that you are trying to access? (dfsutil.exe is
reskit/support tool)
4. What is OS version of client, server?
