I get online but if the site I am looking at has an extra
window (that I use) I get a msg that the devldr32.exe has
performed an illegal operation and lock up my network
where I have to close down the network and then the system
to try again.

devldr32.exe is an executable from creative technologies that
is probably a sound blaster driver. If it is performing illegal
operations either it is corrupt, buggy or it is working with
another module or pehaps hardware that is.

I would suggest reinstalling the driver, finding an updated version
or, as a last resort, disabling or removing the soundblaster hardware.
