Posted this prob a few times now, still no success though.
Tried installing a scanner via LPT1:, am using XP Pro.
Didn't have XP drivers, but got 2K drivers which are
supposed to work.

Tried installing via Scanners & Cameras in control panel.
Did this twice, with no success.

My problem is that I now have 2 entries in Device
Manager, for an unknown device, in "Imaging".
I can not get rid of these entries, no matter what I try.
Get a message, "Uninstall failed, could be a boot device"

Tried to uninstall from device manager.
Tried to uninstall from device manager in safe mode.
Tried disabling first, then uninstalling.
Tried disabling LPT1:, then uninstalling scanner entry.
Tried HKey_Local_Machine\System\Current Control Set\Enum -
no entry there
found both Entries at:-
Hkey_Local_Machine\System\ControlSet001\Enum\Root\Image

Still can't delete, even in Safe Mode.

Any new suggestions.
Thank You.

Still no luck
Not trying to fix these devices, only want to delete them.

Thanks
