device manager w/two processoers showing

I have a device in my device manager that says ACPI
multiprocessor pc and I have no idea what this is. Also
under the processor tab I have two processors showing,
both say theu are working properly but just think this is
very abnormal. Can anyone tell me what this stuff is?
Thanks fot the help!
 
New system? I'd say you have a new P4 with hyper-threading, ie. the OS sees
it as 2 processors...
