Hi db,
I did press the 'yes' button in response to 'was this post helpful to you?'
on each response I so gladly received. Hmmm! I do not know why it never
showed up.
I will hit the key harder next time. By the way thanks for the links, much
appreciated.
As a footnote I did do a search for 'missing device manager' before I posted
