I upgraded my windows 98 to xp almost a year ago and my
device manager worked fine. Yet, one day, the device
manager crashes and the task manager shows
me "services.exe" is using a huge amount of processor
power. I have to close mmc because it stops responding.
The only time I can access the device manager is when I
start up in safe mode. What is causing this?
