device driver error message

Norman

I recently updated Win 2000 with service pack 4. Now, on
startup, I get the error message - Unable to Load Device
Driver \SystemRoot\System32\Drivers\TSISTRM.SYS device
driver could not be loaded. Error Status was 0xc0000034.

How do I get rid of the error
message?

Hi

This looks to me like a driver Issue. Can you boot in Safe Mode? (Press F8
at Startup)

Thanks and Regards,

TSISTRM.SYS is a driver for Laplink. if you have Laplink
Gold, you need only start the laptlin program and a
message will come up allowing Laplink to fix itself. Other
versions of laplink may require more radical fixes.
