Developing a custom Server Type.

I'm trying to find information on how to develop a custom server type
for Outlook to access - like POP3 or Exchange, but for my own custom
data.

Is this information public? Is there an SDK somewhere?
(If there's a more appropriate group, let me know. I couldn't find
anything really relevant).

You would need to create a custom MAPI provider that connects Outlook with

Ahh. I was trying to find good keywords to search for. "Custom MAPI
provider" should do the trick, as well as the link.
