Dev Tools, Advice requested? (powertoys?)

Hi,

I have been using the MS power toys for 2003 pocket pc and found them
useful. However… they don’t appear to be working on windows mobile 5.0?
Are upgraded power toys available? or in the pipeline?

If not, any suggestions on usefull development tools like remote display and
shell for mobile 5 would be much appreciated.

Or suggestions on any other usefull tools you seasoned mobile developers
feel you can live without.

;)
Cheers,
Stonie.

The remote display thing would certainly work on WM5, at least most WM5.
What's the problem, exactly?

The Active sync remote viewer tool throws an exception on startup:

"The OS or CPU is unknown to this application."

The device is a O2 Atom with WM5.

Andrew.

Yes, it does fail. All of the pieces that you need are present, but it's
not plugging them together the right way. If you look at the readme file
for that tool and follow the instructions for solving the indicated problem
(use the ARMV4 version of the program and copy it to the device), you can
get the connection working. Not much fun to quickly access something from
your desktop, but usable if you're just trying to capture 'screen shots' for
publicity on your program or something.
