Detects wrong printer during installation.

Hello:

I have a strange problem. I am trying to install an HP
laserjet 4 plus printer on a client running Windows
2000. When I attempt to install it logged on to the
domain, using auto-detect or choosing it from the list of
printers myself, the computer seems to install it okay--
buy when I print a test page, the document gets sent to
an HP laserjet IIISi connected to another client.

I installed it successfully when I was logged on to the
station itself, not the domain. The test page document
went to the HP laserjet 4 plus. Then when I logged back
on to the domain and printed from the same printer icon
that I just installed, the test page gets sent to the HP
laserjet IIISi on the other client.

Does anyone know what the problem is? Please help.

Thank you
