Detect if a particular *.Exe is installed (Snapshot Viewer)

How would I detect if a specific app is installed on a machine? Specifically
Snotshot Viewer.

Hi,
I would use registry to do so. You can search in registry of PC, where
snapshot viewer installed for key, corresponding to it, and then check on
target pc that same key(s) exist also

That makes sense, but now for question two...

Since Windows Script Host can be used withing Access, why not write
something using it as opposed to going the API route?

Because WSH is much slower and some sites actually disable it.
