Hello,
I'm looking for a macro or add-on to detach attached files from mail body
and save it at the location where I designate (it could vary every time).
Also, when I do it, the location where the files is saved should be indicated
at the bottom of that mail. When I used Lotus Notes, it provided such
functionality and it was very helpful to save the resources, especially
server space.
Some add-ons provide similiar feature but it's not what I want. For
instance, Attachment Processor allows me to indicate one desigated folder and
it starts to detach and save all attached files to that location. In
practice, we need to save files to different locations up to the need.
Therefore, what the feature I want to have is 1) Outlook asks if I want to
detach and save files when I close a mail 2) If no, Outlook just closes the
mail and the attachment is still in the box. 3) If yes, I designate the
folder where I want to save it. 4) In such case, Outlook automatically delete
the file from mail body. Then, it puts the location at the bottom where it is
saved.
In enterprise environment, many people are interested in utilizing the
limitted resources and mail box management is one of the most important
things.
Thanks for the answer.
Regards,
