Hi
I have a HP Pavilion with XP already installed on it. I partitioned the hard
disk using Partitioin Magic 7.0 and installed XP Dutch version for my kids.
Everything was ok. When I made the partition I wanted to make it NTFS but
Partition Magic refused that and made it as FAT32. So I went to the RUN
command and converted the partition into NTFS using the command "convert
c:/fs:ntfs". It was successful; however, when the system restated it counld
not boot to the boot magic menu at all. I would get a statement that no
operating system is available. How do resolve this problem? Your help
plzzzzzzzzz.

I think your Disk Partition Table was incorrect,u may use the Diskman to
repair the error.Good luck for u.

Thanks for your response Lynn
I have downloaded diskman but what is the full command I should use to have
my partition table corrected or rebuilt? Moreover I must inform you that I
have used both partitions for 2 weeks with no problems at all; the problem
occured only when I converted the second partition from FAT32 to NTFS.

I hope you or anyone else can help me further with this problem.

Many thanks in advance

Boot with your Dutch Windows XP CD and follow the instructions at
http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm to do a Repair
Install.

Good luck
