desktop single-click option

Can someone tell me how to change to single-click on
desktop in XP. Was easy to figure out in Windows '98 but
can't figure out how in XP.

I agree, it was easy to figure out in 98. I needed a book in order to change
it in XP!

Control Panel
Folder Options
General tab
"Click items as follows:" choose your options
Apply
OK
