I have a unique problem I cannot seem to find an answer for.
We received a batch of Compaq desktops with Intel 82865G controllers,
they all have the same problem.
Some users want their desktop to be 1024x768, so they change it. The
next time they log on to the computer, it changes it back to
1280x1024. They are the only person logging on to that computer. It
seems like there is some default resolution that overrides the current
setting.
What's also weird, is that on my computer, I set the resolution and it
stays. Except for when another user logs on, then it goes back to
1280x1024.
The only difference between me and everyone else, is I have
adminstrative privileges.
I have googled for an answer to this, but cannot seem to find anything
similar to what I am experiencing. Does anyone have an idea how to
fix this?
