Desktop Quick Launch Icon

My Quick Launch Icon for my desk top disappeared ans I can't seem to find it
to get it back. Any help would be appreciated.
 
have you tried right clicking on the taskbar...at the bottom with the START
menu ( don't right click the start button...anywhere along the bar)
right click - properties
see if Quick Launch is checked off.

OR
right click on start bar (not the button), scroll to TOOLBARS and see if
Quick Launch is checked...
