desktop problems

Hey, when i start up my computer and log on to my account
my computer goes to the desktop screen and stops loading,
all my icons and start menu dont load. After 10-15 mins
of waiting it finally loads. Ive been experiancing this
problem for about 2weeks now. I have a 1.2ghz compaq
persario so speed is not a prob there.

You might want to checkout your Power Supply. Download and install
Motherboard Monitor. It will give you a
continous read on your 3, 5 and 12v rails.
