i have xp pro but it acts like home edition. Like when I press ctrl alt del
it a whole new command screen should come up, but it doesnt. I was wondering
if there are any modifitcations i can do to any options so that i can have
the pro version work right

ctrl+alt+del brings up task manager in all windows versions.

Home and XP user interface is the same: Pro has 100% of the function of Home
plus additional functions.

Hi,

What does come up when you depress those keys?

If the Welcome screen is disabled, then using ctrl+alt+delete does not bring
up Task Manager, it brings up a menu (Task Manager is one of several choices
on the menu). Same thing in Win2000 on a domain.
