Desktop mulfunction

Hi,
I bought Vista Ultimate and running it on C2D 2,4 Ghz (E6600), Asus P5W
Deluxe, 2GB RAM@800 Mhz, Asus EN8800 GTS and having 5,0 overall but
sometimes my desktop crashes ... all of it's components are mixed up, i'm
not even able to press Windows button (I made a shortcut on one of my mouse
button and it doesn't work). The only way to get it back to work is to
reboot ... Has anyone approached such a problem ? Pleae help.

Any error messages? Also, you can check the Event Log under Administrative
Tools. Since you seemed to be having this issue regularly, you will
probably see multiple instances of the same error. Double click the error,
the information contained within may give a clue as to the source of the
issue.

Most likely this is a driver issue. Have you checked manufacturer websites
to make sure you have the latest drivers for all your hardware? If you are
using special software for your mouse, that can sometimes be an issue as
well.
