What are these icons that show up named desktop.ini?
I just delete them and it does not seem to cause trouble but wonder what it is and if I have messed up?

Desktop.ini files contain information about any customization or special
functions of a given folder. You won't always or even usually know where
such changes have been made because they are often made based on an
application installation and usage even if a folder doesn't specifically
belong to that application. Sometimes they are recreated but it's best not
to delete them.

Hi Gil Baron
Go to control panel to folder options to view at the top
then select hide protected operating system files put a
check in the box apply then ok !
If you are seeing these on your desktop they will be gone after you do this !
Good Luck
