Desktop icons

I downloaded a new wallpaper for my laptop and my icons
changed. They are blurred and not crisp. My settings are
set to the highest, 32 bit, highest pixels etc. I played
around with the control panel, appearance, settings and
still no luck. Also, the box underneath each icon is of a
solid color. I would like to have it clear or transparent
so that it only shows the words. I had it before, but it
has changed on me and I dont know how to get it back.

This is driving me crazy because it just happened when I
downloaded this new wallpaper. I even changed back to my
old wallpaper but it does not help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If all else fails to help you, you could do a system restore to an earlier
date. Which reminds me.....I need to set a new restore
point.

as with all downloads. scan the wallpaper for virus, or
spywares.
