How do you change the desktop icon color. I have
wallpaper with icons that have a surrounding color by the
text. I want to make the desktop icons TRANSPARENT with
my desktop wallpaper. How do I do that?

Hi,

To do this Right click and go to the Properties of your My Computer.
Now click on the Advanced tab, then click on the Performance button.
Now make sure you put a checkmark box for the "Use drop shadows for icon
labels on the desktop".
Then hit OK and then OK again.

Right click on the desktop, arrange icons, Lock Items on
Desktop. Make sure this is not ticked.

That doesnt work;

Also, Go to the Control Panel, System Icon, Advanced Tab,
Performance, Settings, and select Use Drop
Shadows .............
