Using WinXP-Professional. As with most Windows, there are two "groups" of
icons on the main desktop. First has system things like MyComputer,
RecycleBin, IntExplorer, and Outlook icon on my PC. Second group has icon
shortcuts to applications like Word, Excel, Acrobat, Dialup, whatever. I
can generally easily control which icons go where in various menus (like rt
click desktop > properties. customize desktop).
Except one. I can't find anywhere how Outlook got into the system section
up there alongside RecycleBin. Obviously "install Outlook" put in there in
the beginning, but where is this controlled/changed AFTER installation, and
if I delete it, can I put it back later into the SYSTEM group again. Isn't
there an easier way than the obvious/most-work solution of an Outlook
uninstall/reinstall. Is it possible to put other icons into the SYSTEM
group also. Thanks.
