Somehow my desktop has rotated on its side and I can't
get it back. When I boot, the windows xp comes up fine,
but then when it fully boots, everythig is sideways. My
neck is hurting...help!!!

You need to tell us what brand of video card or adapter you have.
If you happen to have a NVIDIA card or adapter, right-click on
your desktop and select:

Properties > Settings > Advanced > GeForce (tab) > NVRotate
and change the setting to "Landscape (0 degree rotation)".

Some video drivers have provision for rotating the display, to go with
LCD screens that can be rotated to 'portrait' mode. R-click in
unoccupied desktop, Properties and on Settings click Advanced. Look for
a tab like 'Rotation'
