desktop folders

I turned on my computer and all my dsktop folders are missing. I do a search
and cannot find then. I have Window's XP and have 5 different users. When I
go into another user and searh for my desktop folder not even that is there
 
are you talking about folders/shortcuts that you have placed on "your" desktop?

Since you have "your" own user account, these folders will not be on another
user accounts desktop!!!!
