"My Computer", "Internet Explorer", "Control Panel", "Search" and basically any other function that i need to use will not operate correctly. The screen tries to change, as it usually does, allowing the selected program to come to the top, but after a few seconds of trying to perform the operation it goes back to the desktop screen displaying all icons etc. Internet Explorer will not load (or come to view) at all. I tried the XP Common Task fixer but only received a msg stating 'no errors to fix'.
