desktop display

vista - desktop display now has about a two inch black space on right
side...have tried to restore settings and it did not reset to full screen

Any suggestions?

That is the space for the windows sidebar. Try opening the side bar
(Programs/accessories/windows side bar). Then closing again.

I tried that... the sidebar shows still and is included in the smaller space
with the black to the right of both.... thanks for trying...
