1. By default, the desktop background will show the contents of your my
pictures folder. If you put your pictures elsewhere, you won't see them any
more. Also, once you exceed 100 or so pictures, it stops showing them here.
2. By default, typing one character per line will annoy the very people you
are trying to get assistance from, this decreasing the likelihood of a
response dramatically.
