Does your Monitor have an on screen menu. Normally this
can be fixed by stretching and moving the screen from the
monitor itself

You probably need a newer driver for the graphics card,
ideally one written specifically for Windows XP, or at
least one written for Windows 2000. Try the website for
the computer manufacturer, looking there for a "support"
link. If no luck with that, determine what brand the
graphics card is and look on that manufacturer's web
site. Actually, if you paid this computer tech for the
work, you should require them to fix this problem -- I
would not consider this a completed job.

a computer tech. When he got his computer back,
everything seems to work fine but the desktop does not
extend all the way to the bottom of the monitor. We have
tried all the old fixes, such as strectching his display
in the "appearance" tab and manually adjusting the screen
on his monitor's +/- buttons. No matter what we do, it
still leaves about and inch at the bottom of the screen.
Any suggestions?
