deskjet 5550 under Unix

Hello,
Has anyone got an hp deskjet 5550 printer going under Unix? If so i'd be
interested as to how.

Well,i haven´t,but as the 5550 is pcl3 capable and has a parallel port it
should work with any drivers for previous deskjets and early
laserjets(I,II,III).

Thanks, i've tried alternative drivers, but i get slow performance.
