Desk Top

A wide area has appeared on the left hand side of my desk
top and I can't get rid of it. It contains drop down
boxes with the following headings: Folder Tasks, Other
Places and Details. Doeas anyone know how to get this
removed from my desk top?

have you tried to clean up your desk top if not that
