Desk Cleanup

I am running on Windows XP Home Edition.
Recently, I am unable to perform the Desk Cleanup.
After the Desk Cleanup appears, it stuck.
Appreciate help.

Line 48, Right column "Disk Cleanup - Compress..."
Save on Desktop.
Double click the icon once downloaded.
The icon can then be discarded.
