Design labels with inches vs pt. How do I figure out pts?

I want to make some labels and Microsoft wants me to know how many points (or
whatever pt stands for). The only way I know how to design a label is by
using inches. I have many labels that have 33/page that are about 1 inch by 2
inches, but I cannot figure out how to design that on Microsoft Word.

There are 72 points per inch. However, Word will do the math for you. In any
dialog box where you're entering measurements, type the number and an
abbreviation for the unit you want. For example, you can enter 2 in and
Word will convert that to 144 pt. It will also accept a double-quote
character as an abbreviation for inches, so 2" will give the same result.
