I am looking for some design help. Does anyone know of how others have gone
about producing a ghant chart type interface with Access? I have used Access
extensively for many types of applications and would like to use it, if
possible, for my latest idea, but as far as I am aware, Access really won't
work for me. I am hoping someone knows of something I do not. I have not used
ActiveX controls so this may be a possibility; or something else?

I want to create a column of production machines with the adjacent columns
tracking time in hours, days, weeks, months. In this way each row will
represent scheduled production time for each machine.

I could also use suggestions for other approaches it Access will not work.

You can do this in reports. There is a sample in the Calendar Reports

Are you referring to a Gantt Chart, Holly?
There's instructions here for doing this with Excel.

Thanks, I will look into this further. It would be nice to be able to do
somthing like this in forms as well.
