Design a New Message Form

Hi,
We have got an application that can send text messages to
mobile phones.
However in a corporate environment where all the users
info is located in the Global address book it is difficult
access their mobile nr.
What I would like to do is to design a different message
form and instead of the To field sending it to an email
address it will have the reciepients mobile nrs.
Then this message must be routed to a diffrent smtp
server, our application, will then recieve the email and
send the text message to the mobile phone.

Have anybody done this?
