Depromoting ADS affects scheduled jobs

Hello all,
I de promoted an ADS after which the jobs that were scheduled in that
machine did not work. When I try to view the properties of any of the job, I
get the error
General page initialization failed.
The specific error is:
0x8007000d: The data is invalid

The following is the entry in the MS Task scheduler log file in the system
root directory when I try to run these jobs

"BkUpSchedulerOutput.job" (BkUpSchedulerOutput.bat) 7/24/2003 8:30:00 AM **
ERROR **
The attempt to retrieve account information for the specified task failed;
therefore, the task did not run. Either an error occurred, or no account
information existed for the task.
The specific error is:
0x8007000d: The data is invalid.
"SSTFillRate.job" (SSTFillRate.bat) 7/24/2003 8:30:00 AM ** ERROR **
The attempt to retrieve account information for the specified task failed;
therefore, the task did not run. Either an error occurred, or no account
information existed for the task.
The specific error is:
0x8007000d: The data is invalid.

The user name and password information of the accoutn in which the job is
scheduled is corrupted. I saw some postings with the same problem, but i
could not find the solution.
Is this a known bug acknowledged by Microsoft? Is there any hot fix
available?
Can you please help?
Thanks and regards,
Ramya Priya

Where these tasks scheduled with domain accounts or local accounts?
I couldn't find any KB article on this, but it is not suprising.
The next time you need to do this, I would stop the Task Scheduler services
and configure its' startup to Manual until the process is complete.

The tasks are scheduled with domain accounts and not local accounts.
I see similar postings on searching for this error code in the newsgroups,
but unfortunately no one has any solution.
I'll try stopping task scheduler before depromotion and check this also.
But, any idea what could be the reason?
With regards,
Ramya
