Dependent xml file

Is there anyway to create an XML or text file that is a dependency of an
assembly. So that when the assembly is copied because it is a resource by
developer studio the dependent text/xml file is copied too? I don't want to
embed the xml file because it changes often.

I am afraid embedding the file is your only option.
