dependent drop down boxes and dynamic ranges

hi all,
have created a drop down box that is dependent on another cell, using
the indirect function to get the name from another cell.
heowever, when i amend the names to dynamic ranges, this stops the drop
down boxes getting their list - anyone got dependent drop down boxes to
workj with dynamic ranges?

It needs work-arounds. What is the formula that you are using and some
sample data?
