demoted a DC, now a mess.

We're using Windows Server 2003 and we demoted one DC and are now getting
all sorts of errors everywhere in the event log.

There are still tombstones of the DC in the apps like AD Sites and Services,
etc.

What methods can I use to completely erase that domain controllers from the
AD ?

thanks
chris

Have you done a metadata cleanup? You also might need to use ADSI Edit
or Ldp to delete the object if it still exists. Don't forget to clean up the
DNS too.
