Demand-dial won't start

Hello friends,

I'm using a ADSL connection to the internet. In order to
share it in my local network I have set up a demand-dial
connection through Windows 2000 server "Routing and
Remote Access". The problem I have is that when the
server starts and a client tries to connect to the
internet the demand-dial connection will not start
automatically and I have to start it manyally.

Does anyone have a good idea on this issue?
Is there a way to start the connection when the during
the server start up even if there is not a client demand
yet?

Many thanks in advance

Nikos

there are 2 ways
1. setting the Demand Dial interface to Persistent to always try to dial
2. set a route to the traffic you wish through this Demand dial interface
you can also set it as your default route
when you get a traffic for this destination it will initiate the demand dial
interface
