I used to be able to hook my Dell Inspiron 1100 Laptop up to my television
to watch my DVDs on my big screen TV, but now for some reason, I can not go
to my Graphic Option and select the TV Device any more, I only have the
Notebook device... how do I get the TV device option back?

Make sure that you have the current up to date drivers for your video card.
Then, make sure that you have the external TV connector "enabled" in the
BIOS.

Hey,
Have the same laptop and the same problem. This is what I would do first:
make sure that the inputs on the TV are on and make sure the cable is
inserted all the way. If that does not work contact Dell through
http://support.dell.com and go into a live chat with a rep. Just have your
Express Service Code ready they will want that. Hope it works out! :)

Don't bother with this issue, I contacted Dell's Tech Support who told me to
shut down, connect to the TV and reboot. Once I rebooted with the S-Video
cable connected to the TV, the option to select the TV as my output monitor
device was available.
