Dell can't access network

Hi all.

I have a new Dell Dimension with XP, trying to network it with my other
computers, a desktop IBM and a wireless IBM laptop. We had a home network
prior and have moved the computers around...I initially set up a network
successfully, now it won't work. I can ping both the IBM's but can not ping
this computer locally or from other computers. All computers are set up
under the mshome group, all have unique computer names etc. I'm very
frustrated. I'm not an expert, but have set up home networks before. Any
help is appreciated.

Have you got any firewalls running? - Norton, zone alarm,
XP's built in firewall, XP SP2 firewall? - if so, disable
or remove all firewalls for testing. If this allows the
connection, then you need to reconfigure them to allow
LAN traffic.(trusted zone)
