dell Axim x30 doesn't synchronize with Vista

Last week I bought a laptop (Compas pressario V6000) with Vista, but my PDA
(Dell Axim X30) doesn't synchronize with Outlook (2007). The pda is
recognized as a storage device but not as a PDA.
The Dell helpdesk knows about the problem but says there's no solution: my
PDA is too old (bought in 2003).
Does anyone know a way to synchronize??
- I know I must use Windows Mobility Center instead of Activesync.
- Synchronisation with outlook 2007 on a XP based pc was no problem.

Regarding my last posting about your problem. I was able to get you the
information you needed from Microsoft Internet Communications Site. Did it
work?
