Delivery Status Notification

After installing XP Pro Service pack 2 not receiving Delivery Status
Notification for any emails sent. yet still receive read receipts. Is this
right? Can anyone advise?
 
Delivery Receipts must be supported by the mail server the message is sent
to. In most cases this has been disabled for privacy/security/anti-spam
reasons.
