Delivery Status Notification (Delay) on mail from business domain to AOL

I don't believe this is the right place to post this, but I'm not sure where
to go. When we send business correspondence to AOL, we get a Delivery
Status Notification (Delay) message for all messages. I'm fairly certain
that it's not related to the AOL spam filters as I tested it on an account
that had the spam filters turned off and still got the Delivery Status
notification message. Has anyone ever seen this problem before? What is
the solution?

Some server between you and the recipient is delaying the messages - it
might be AOL, it might be some other server. You could look in the
Delivery Status Notification (I think it will be in one of the attachments)
and find the "Reporting-MTA" - that's the server that is delaying the
message.
