deletling messages from newsgroups

this is a general question. After browsing through the downloaded newsgroup
messages I go to tools-option-maintenance-clear-browse (choose the
newsserver)-ok-delete-compact. about nine operations. is there any way of
simplifying this. thanks
 
You can select the NG, and use find to select some items, and drag and drop
them to the Deleted folder (works for me with OE)
