Deleting

I don't know much about computers or the lingo of them. I
have a simple question. I go to a search engine website,
(yahoo or netscape) and in the search bar or is it called
the explorer bar...I am unsure any way. The bar that is
on the website and you type in words or topics for the
site to look up. I want to know how to delete the memory
of that. Whenever I go back on that website, it pulls up
every thing I've searched on that site. How do I delete
this?

It's called an explorer bar (I don't know why).
You can highlight any entry and press the Delete key.
